Google Soon Close Android Market Services

Not many realize Google still supports some legacy apps like Android Market. This is an app market that has existed before Google Play. This market can be found on the old Android Eclair, as quoted from the Phone Arena page.

But, now Android 2.1 Eclair is only used less than 0.1 percent ecosystem so Google will close Android Market, reported on 30 June.

The closure was not expected to impact Google because it contributed very little.

Google introduced the Play Store since Android 2.2 Froyo, withdrawing there are still devices that use the operating system so that Google will still support Android Market for that version.
