Google quietly released the ability to download videos to enjoy offline in more countries. The release of this capability is reported to begin in the last month, but this option only appears in some countries.

Google releases updates on the app support page, with a full list of countries that have supported this particular feature. According to the list, there are 125 countries that have been able to enjoy it.

In order to take advantage of the offline video download feature, YouTube users can use the dedicated Download button at the bottom of the video. This button will allow users to download and watch videos when the device is not connected to the internet.

The ability to download YouTube videos for offline viewing is one of the key features that YouTube Red offers, a Google service that requires users to be paid customers.

Starting this week, YouTube users from all over the country who support this feature will be able to take advantage of it. However, note that not all video content on Youtube can be downloaded for offline viewing, marked with no Download button under the video.
