This is the Most Shared Emoji on Facebook and Messenger

In celebration of World Emoji Day, Facebook and Messenger share new data showing what emoji is the most shared by people around the world.

 

Currently more than 2 billion people around the world use Facebook every month as a place to connect and share thoughts, ideas, laughter with relatives. "Over 60 million emoji are used on Facebook every day and over 5 billion emoji are used in Messenger every day," according to Facebook in its statement Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

Most areas of the world are filled with excitement and laughter, as the most widely used emoji on Facebook globally over the last 30 days is Face With Tears of Joy, followed by Smiling Face With Heart-Shaped Eyes and Face Throwing a Kiss.

 

The most widely used emoji in Messenger (Facebook applications) for the last 30 days is Face With Tears of Joy, followed by Face Throwing a Kiss and Smiling Face With Heart-Shaped Eyes.

In addition, in order to celebrate the much-anticipated Emoji Movie in theaters, Messenger has just added 16 new stickers into the app of your favorite emoji character.

This sticker package is available before the movie is in theaters, giving fans a great way to make their Messenger conversation about the movie more visual and fun.

 

Sending a sticker in Messenger can be done in three easy steps: (1) open an existing conversation in the Messenger app and press the smile icon inside the text field, (2) find Emoji Movie in the "search for sticker" section, and (3) select Your favorite stickers and send.
