5G cellular service is roughly 10 times faster than 4G and many companies say it will be a breakthrough technology that allows wireless data transfer, as quoted from Fortune.
AT&T utilize spectrum mmWave to network 5G and focused on deployment in areas with a high density with larger network requests. In areas with low density, the operator said it would spread the 5G in the spectrum of mid and low-band, according to a report from ZDNet.
AT&T did intentionally choose a variety of the city's larger and smaller in hopes of the next generation network test on a wide range of users. Not only that, AT&T will also announce that four California cities, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose will get the service 5G at the beginning of 2019, along with Las Vegas, Nashville, and Orlando.
