As a result of incidents involving Facebook and Cambridge Analytica continues, Facebook Co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is asked to testify at a hearing to be hosted by the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary on April 10.

The trial will focus on data privacy. Not only Facebook, this trial also invited Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

Meanwhile in the past week, information circulating revealed personal data as many as 50 million Facebook users used without their knowledge, to create a psychological profile used in the 2016 presidential election.

The data should have been retained by the American-Russian researcher Aleksandr Kogan, but later turned to the hands of Steve Bannon and Alexander Nix at Cambridge Analytica.

The company then uses this information to place ads related to Donald Trump candidates to the individual and the right time.

This strategy succeeded in making the vote for Donald Trump higher than Hillary Clinton, which is 4,000 votes. It shocked a number of parties, as Clinton excelled from Trump on a popularity-related vote, receiving 3,000 votes.

This issue is related to the chance that Facebook has violated the approval decision of 2011 which he agreed with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

This Agreement is intended to prevent Facebook from sharing information related to users without permission. Meanwhile, the FTC confirmed it was investigating Facebook.

Zuckerberg also decided not to testify before a session convened by the British Parliament. Law enforcement agencies in the United Kingdom is planning to dig information related to how Cambridge Analytica obtained the data of 50 Facebook users.

Last week, Zuckerberg released an apology related to data leakage to users of its social networking platform in writing that dominates a full-page newspaper, in newspapers in the United States and Britain.
In a letter of apology, Zuckerberg also asked the user to give up a second chance.
