Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg opens a voice questioning that mentions that companies linked to the Trump 2016 campaign are able to target 50 million Facebook users after gaining access to profiles without permission.

Zuckerberg acknowledged that Facebook made a mistake, and introduced a plan with three points to ensure that Facebook will no longer be careless and make the same mistakes associated with personal data platform users of his work.

The first step of the Facebook plan is to launch an investigation to review applications that have access to user data carefully, before Facebook tightened access in 2014 ago.

Then, the app will now be limited and will only include usernames, email addresses, and user profile photos. Finally, Facebook will present a tool that will allow users to view their data-accessing apps.

Users will be able to stop access and prevent selected apps from collecting their personal information. Currently Facebook is undergoing an investigation by the FTC related opportunities violation of Consent Decree 2011 law agreed on this social network.

The Decree states that Facebook users have given permission before their data is used in various ways. Facebook reportedly found the data used by Cambridge Analytica in 2015 but did not tell its users.

The company named Cambridge Analytica reportedly obtained data from Cambridge University professor Aleksandr Kogan. Kogan obtained the data he gave to Cambridge Analytica on the pretext of only using it for research purposes.

Conditions are getting heated when Cambridge Analytica CEO Alexander Nix is punished by his company. Nix was punished after being caught by a hidden camera telling an undercover reporter, how he could damage the reputation of politicians by using fraudulent and untruthful tactics.

In addition, Nix also claimed responsibility for President Trump's victory in the 2016 presidential election of the United States. Trump's victory caused various societies to express their disapproval and protested loudly.
