This announcement was submitted via the FAA website. "At the request of the US national security and law enforcement agencies, the FAA uses the authority under the Federal 14 Regulatory Code 14 (14 CFR) 99.7 to address concerns about illegal drone operations in 10 places of the Department of Interior (DOI)," he wrote.
The places forbidden to fly the drones include the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, Boston National Historical Park, National Park of Independence, Folsom Reservoir, Glen Canyon Reservoir, Grand Coulee Reservoir, Hoover Dam, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, and Shasta Reservoir.
This regulation is scheduled to take effect on October 5, 2017. The FAA will also release maps of places which may be flown by drones or not.
The rules of flying the drones are encouraged in a number of countries. The most strict country enforcing the rules of flying the drones is Japan. In this Sakura country, the maximum height of flying a drone is 150 meters from the top of the ground and there should be no one under it.
