Nine-year-old
boy Jack Davis proposed to the position of the earth-protecting officer
of an alien advertised by the US space agency NASA recently.
The vacancy position, which Business Recider reported last Tuesday, pays up to US $ 187,000 a year. The position of the earth guard officer is a full time job and opened since 1967.
NASA itself mentions in the description of that position, that they invite candidates with a high degree and have experience working on interplanetary missions.
This role is not only responsible for protecting foreign worlds such as Europa (Jupiter's ice moon) from germs on spacecraft launched by humans, but also defending the Earth from contamination by alien microbes.
Lured by the vacancy, Davis, calling himself the Galactic Shield, gathered the courage to write and send a letter to NASA on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

The complete letter of Davis was revealed by NASA yesterday, and reads:
Dear NASA,
My name is Jack Davis and I want to apply for the work of the planet protection officer. I may be nine years old but I think I will be fit for the job. One of the reasons is that my brother says I am an alien. Also, I have watched almost all the space films and alien films. I have been watching the Marvel Agents of Shield and hope to see the movie Men in Black. I'm good in vidieo games. I'm young, so I can learn to think like an alien.
Best regards,
Jack Davis

Responding to Davis's letter, NASA's Planetary Science Director Jim Green decided to send a reply to Davis. Jonathan Rall, director of NASA's planetary research, also called Davis to congratulate him for his interest in the position.
