Prior to working at Google, Bryant was Head of Intel Group Data Center. He started joining Google late November 2017.
"We make sure that Diane Bryant is no longer a part of Google, we feel fortunate for the contribution he has given to Google, surely we expect the best for Bryant in everything he wants next," Google's official statement regarding Bryant's resignation.
Bryant's reasons for resignation are not mentioned. But based on the news circulated, Bryant is expected to return to Intel. As is known Intel is currently looking for replacement CEO Brian Krzanich who was forced to step down because of a romance scandal involving him.
As a person with more than 25 years of experience working at Intel and guarding Google Cloud even for a while, Bryant is considered a suitable candidate to replace Krzanich.
His experience working with Google is also a plus for Intel's CEO candidate. The reason, Google into the top 10 Cloud-computing best on Cloud competition.
When Bryant joins Google, Google Cloud CEO Diane Greene says that Bryant has a keen sense of strategy, technical knowledge, and a good user focus.
Diane Bryant's ability to help their companies accelerate the scale and reach of Google Cloud, resulting in an increase in Google's market share and revenue.
