The co-founder of Casio died at the age of 89 with the cause of his death of pneumonia

Chairman and CEO of Casio Computer, Kazuo Kashio breathed his last at the age of 89 years. The cause of his death was pneumonia. Kashio is a figure who has contributed to building the company's famous Casio and G-Shock watches.

Kazuo is the third child of four Kashio brothers, who became the founder of the world's first calculator company in 1957, which subsequently used the family clan as the company name of Casio.


Kazuo has led the company for nearly three decades. He is famous as a figure who turns the Casio mini calculator into a universal device and changes the image of digital watches.

Kazuo and his three brothers transformed Casio from domestic appliance stores into a global company, with annual sales of US $ 3 billion. Casio is now a giant company that sells digital watches, cameras, calculators, electronic keyboards, and other musical instruments, as well as high-speed printers.

In 1965, Casio began producing desktop calculators. Seven years later, the company introduced the Casio Mini, which is known as the world's first private calculator.

The device became scattered everywhere after doing tremendous marketing. The company announced Casiotron, a digital watch equipped with a calendar in 1974.


Then in 1983, Casio introduced the G-Shock, the first watch in the toughest claim. This company's flagship watch also showcased the power of battery life is more durable than its competitors. Strong watches have been promoted in famous movies such as "Men in Black" and "Mission: Impossible."
