Qualcomm officially introduced Snapdragon 710 for the middle class

Qualcomm officially introduced the latest mobile platform, the Snapdragon 710. The platform is designed with high-efficiency architecture to accommodate the use of artificial intelligence with multi-core AI engines and the ability to process neural networks.

In an official statement received Friday, Snapdragon 710 is the first mobile platform in the new 700 series portfolio.

The platform is designed to outperform expectations of mobile experiences in high-end devices in a wider consumer segment.


"The Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform is the first product in the latest line of 700 series offering technology and features that were previously only available in our premium product line," said Vice President for Product Management at Qualcomm Kedar Kondap.

He said this platform combines the main capabilities of artificial intelligence and performance improvement. Snapdragon 710 is designed to turn consumer products into the latest personal assistant.

"One of them is the high-end camera features that will benefit from the capability of on-device processing of high-speed artificial intelligence, certainly without sacrificing battery life," he said.


Therefore, Snapdragon 710 comes with a significant increase in performance compared to the product line in the 600 series. The ability is quite visible is the artificial intelligence that can turn the smartphone into a personal experience for users on the side of the camera and voice.

Improvement is also evident from the ability to take photos and video more quality. With Spectra 250 ISP support, the device can capture images in low lighting conditions, noise reduction, fast autofocus, and real-time blurring effects.


Snapdragon 710

The Snapdragon 710 also features a 4K HDR playback for viewing HDR video and applications. This feature is first present outside the 800 series premium line. This capability also brings a better level of brightness.


For connectivity, this platform brings the new Snapdragon X15 LTE modem that already supports Cat 15 capabilities. The latest architecture is also set up to provide superior power efficiency and longer battery life.
