According to an official statement, Samsung is the latest smartphone manufacturer that supports NextRadio, by enabling FM Radio chips across all of its new mobile phones in the US and Canada market.
However, the decision will not be applied directly. This is because the smartphones available in the United States market currently supported FM Radio chips have not been enabled.
The owner of Samsung smartphones in the future with an activated FM Radio chip, will connect directly with the NextRadio app and listen to local favorite radio stations.
Previously, President of Samsung Mobile Business DJ Koh also announced Samsung will launch their flagship smartphone, Galaxy S9, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, in February.
