Twitter Lite is reportedly launched in 24 countries

Twitter launches android app Twitter Lite in 24 countries. This application is claimed to be lighter and more efficient data than usual Twitter applications. In its official website, Twitter says the 24 countries are Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Israel, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Malaysia, Nigeria, Nepal, Panama, Peru, Serbia, El Salvador, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia, Tanzania and Venezuela.

Initially, Twitter Lite is an Internet site that provides experience using Twitter with more efficient data launched April 2017. Twitter claimed to get a positive response from the launch.

"Since its launch we have seen developments, such as tweets sent from Twitter Lite up more than 50 percent," Twitter wrote in an official blog post on Thursday, October 30, 2017.

Twitter then developed Twitter Lite into an app in September 2017 and launched it in the Philippines. After some testing and Twitter feedback decided to launch it to other countries.

 

Twitter Lite is an Android mobile phone app. Twitter Lite is a lighter version, faster and more efficient than previous applications. This application is claimed to be optimally used even in 2G connection conditions. The app is only 3 MB.
