Samsung Held Android Oreo Beta Program for Galaxy S8

The smartphone vendors began to roll out the beta OS Android Oreo (8.0) for its product lineup. Samsung was named as one of the smartphone vendors who are preparing for the launch of the latest OS. A new report says that Samsung plans to launch Android Oreo beta program for Galaxy S8 on October 31, 2017. However, not all Galaxy S8 users can participate in the beta program.

Samsung reportedly launched the first beta program Android Oreo in the UK, North America and South Korea. Then, the company will again hold a second wave of beta programs that will include the regions of China, Germany, France, India, Poland and Spain.

Lucky users can follow the program through the Samsung Members app. This app can be downloaded from Galaxy Apps and Google Play Store.

So far it is not known whether Samsung limits the number of users who can follow the program, or all can participate.

The presence of this beta program does not mean Android Oreo for Galaxy S8 will be released at the end of 2017. Section, Samsung reportedly will not release updates for Android Oreo until early 2018.
