PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Player Number Reaches 500 Thousand

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), one of the most popular games currently on Steam continues to gain popularity.

After successfully sold more than 1 million copies less in a month, the shooter then sold more than 5 million copies in three months. Not only that, this time PUBG managed to reach the number of online users in one time, that is 500 thousand players.

The number of PUBG players reached its peak at 523,436 players. The number is quite a lot though still under DOTA 2 which now still holds the record number of players online at one time in Steam.

Nevertheless, the achievement should be appreciated because PUBG is still an Early Access game and will be released later this year.

The game is also created by indie studios with funding that is not as big as AAA class games. What is interesting is the growth of PUBG is very fast. Some observers even predict this game will be able to compete with DOTA 2 if the developer continues to develop and maintain the mechanism of the game.

PUBG itself is a survival shooter game that is very busy talked about lately. This game has a simple mechanism. Fifty players were collected and deployed on an island. Then, everyone must fight each other until the remaining one player.
