YouTube TV Increases 10 Markets in the Next Few Weeks
Google promised two months ago that YouTube TV service will be present in more markets in the coming weeks. However, Google does not seem to plan to provide this service outside of North America yet.

Currently, YouTube TV services are available in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Phone Arena reported, on June 23 Google announced 10 new markets that will be able to enjoy the benefits offered services.

In the coming weeks, consumers in the following cities across the United States will be able to access the YouTube TV service with a paid subscription model per month.

The new cities include Dallas-Fort Worth, Washington D.C, Houston, Atlanta, Pheonix, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Orlando-Dyatona Beach-Melbourne and Charlotte.

With the announcement, YouTube TV is officially available in 15 cities in the United States. Meanwhile, Google is expected to continue to spread the scope of this service, although the technology giant is still mum related to its plans for this YouTube TV service.

Meanwhile earlier, in an opinion article published in the Financial Times, YouTube has described the 4 steps they took to fight the extremist activities on the video platform.

Not only YouTube, Facebook also launches an Online Civil Courage initiative in the UK, as part of efforts to combat the spread of extremist content. The European Council has approved a set of proposals that will force companies like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to block videos containing hate speech and support for terrorism.
