
At Computex 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan, Microsoft mentions a number of companies that will work on an ARM-based Windows 10 PC processor. They are HP, Asus and Lenovo, which will work on this brand-new PC platform.
Microsoft itself previously had a partnership with Qualcomm who made the integration between Windows 10 with ARM processor can be realized. And the first PC produced from the partnership will certainly use Snapdragon 835, which is Qualcomm's fastest processor today.
In terms of software, Windows 10 will be able to emulate conventional desktop applications to run on ARM-based devices. So users will get the same experience when they use x86-based PCs.
ARM-based PC that will be able to run heavy win32 x86 applications such as Photoshop from Adobe and the like, as quoted from Ubergizmo.
Although it has confirmed three partners to work on this brand-new PC, Microsoft has not been able to confirm when this new type of PC is present to the market. They only mention that this type of PC will have better battery life and support 4G LTE connection.
