Sacrifice Battery, Moto Z2 Play Will Present More Thin

Last year, Lenovo launched its flagship smartphone modular Moto Z and Moto Z Play. This smartphone is believed to be one of the best modular mobile phone concept ever released a company.

Now, Lenovo is said to be preparing the second generation of modular smartphones Moto Z. Citing Ubergizmo, a report mentions that Moto Z2 Play will be thinner than its predecessor.

Thus, it can be said if the battery that said was smaller than Moto Z Play.


Venture Beat mentions, Moto Z2 Play will have a body 1mm thinner than Moto Z Play, so the thickness of the smartphone that was 7mm so 6mm. Meanwhile, the weight will also be 20 grams lighter than Moto Z Play.

Previously, Moto Z Play has a 3510mAh battery but with a reduced thickness of 1mm, the battery capacity was reduced to 3000mAh.



Regarding the specifications, Moto Z2 Play will come with a number of improvements. For example in terms of a more premium chipset, the Snapdragon 626, Snapdragon 625 successor used in Moto Z Play.


Then, RAM and internal storage space was upgraded from 3GB and 32GB to 4GB and 64GB.

While the large dimensions are still the same, which is 5.5inci with AMOLED screen full HD 1080p resolution. This is to ensure that Moto Z2 Play will still support Moto Mods.
