The White House said that President Donald Trump strongly support a bill that would repeal a rule that requires the Internet service provider (ISP) to better protect the privacy of its customers rather than do a Google or Facebook. In the new rules later, the ISP has the right to sell surfing history (browsing history) customers for the benefit of advertisers.
US time Tuesday or Wednesday pm The US House of Representatives will hold a vote to repeal the rules that have been approved by the Federal Communications Commission in October last year, under the administration of President Barack Obama at that time.
Based on that rule, ISPs must obtain consumer consent before using geolocation, financial information, health information, children's information and web browsing history, for advertising and marketing.
Last week, the Senate voting 50 versus 48 for reverse rules so as to win the AT & T Inc., Comcast Corp. and Verizon Communications Inc., according to Reuters.
