Facebook will build its first data center in Asia in Singapore

Facebook will build its first data center in the Asian region. Like some other technology companies, Facebook selects Singapore to put a data center. Reported by Reuters, Facebook allocates funds more than the US $1 billion to build a data center. According to his statement, the company will build the facility in the western part, near the location of the third data center of Google.

"This will be our first data center in Asia. Singapore provides a good infrastructure, a lot of talent, talented workforce and a number of great partners,  "says Vice President of Infrastructure Dara Centers Facebook, Thomas Furlongs.

Before Facebook, another big technology company, Google has built the first data center in Singapore. In fact, the company is planning its third data center development. The third data center was created to accommodate the needs of the citizen growing Southeast Asia grow. Internet users in Southeast Asia are currently estimated to have exceeded 330 million out of a total population of 650 million more.
