Twitter suspending more than 1 million accounts per day within the next few months to reduce the circulation of false information on the platform.

Twitter and other social media platforms such as Facebook have been inspected by U.S. lawmakers and international rule-maker. This social media platform was considered too weak in prevention efforts spread false content, offered from Reuters.

The companies have taken steps such as deleting user accounts, introducing the update and actively monitor content to help users avoid the victims false content.

Twitter suspending more than 70 million accounts in May and June, and it continues in July.  "Is hard to believe that the 70 million accounts are affected when Twitter has only 336 million active users monthly, " says Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter.

Monthly active users of Twitter is estimated to grow nearly 3 percent. Pachter suggested that a large number of pending account is inactive and should have little impact on the company.

If 70 million active account is an account, it seems it would be detrimental for the company. According to the Washington Post, the removal of unwanted accounts aggressively may lead to a decrease in the number of rare monthly users in the second quarter.

 "Because of increased technology and processes over the last year, we now remove 214 percent more accounts for violating our anti-spam policy based on year after year, " said the company in a blog post last month.

Identified in May, more than 9.9 million ' spam ' or potentially automated account per week compared with 6.4 million in December 2017.
