Future transport of Elon Musk was soon built

It seems that one of the big projects of The Boring Company (TBC) will soon become a reality. The company founded by Elon Musk has just been selected to build a Loop transport linking downtown Chicago and O'Hare International Airport.

TB will then dig two tunnels that will connect these two points. Passengers will then be brought in a pod capable of loading 16 people in one trip. Pod-pod is planned to leave the departure point every 30 seconds.

The transportation system will be built at a cost of US $ 1 billion. The system will also carry passengers at a speed of 240 kilometers per hour, making the journey as far as 27 kilometers can be reached in 12 minutes.

Tunnel excavations for this system are expected to begin in the next 3 to 4 months. Then after the construction process begins, Musk expects the Loop system will operate 18 to 24 months later.

Musk also stressed that the new Loop will be opened to the public if it is proven safe. "We will open this system to the public only if its security is really proven, so even after we have finished the test trip, we will pass the qualification process before putting many people into it," Musk told a news conference.

In a press conference attended by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Musk also believes the project will be able to restore operating costs. Whether if the project will benefit TB, Musk says it is another matter.

 

Musk also answered critics who doubted his company. "People do have to question things, and not just accept that something will work because it often does not work out," Musk said.

"However, I think if you look at a person's track record or track record, and what progress has been achieved, it makes sense to imagine what they will do in the future," he added.
