Perhaps most importantly, How to add the Touchscreen Home Button on iPhone

Home Button
The home button on the iPhone is the biggest button on the iOS device and probably the most important. This makes the iPhone and iPad so easy to use. That single button will always take you to the main screen no matter what you do.

Unfortunately the extensive use of home buttons on the iPhone caused the home button to be unresponsive. This can really make you disappointed, especially if you are using an older device that does not support the terms. If you're facing the same problem then you need to enable the touchscreen home button on iPhone on your iOS device, and here's how you do it:

How to Add Touchscreen Home Button on iPhone, iPad

1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to General > Accessibility
3. Scroll down to the section labeled INTERACTION and tap AssistiveTouch.

4. On the next screen, toggle AssistiveTouch to green On position.

5. The white circle with gray box will appear on the screen. Tap this circle to expand it to the big box on the screen. The square Home button at the bottom of the box works exactly like the physical home button. You can use it for a single tap, double-tap, or long press. Gray gray remains visible and works in all apps.

This is a simple and effective fix for iPhone home buttons that are not responding.
