Samsung announced the PM1643 Solid State Drive (SSD) product with the largest capacity in the world, 30.72TB in standard 2.5-inch SSD. Capacity is beyond the previous SSD with a capacity of 25.36TB.

This achievement is mentioned Samsung in its release as a result of the combination of 1TB NAND flash drive as much as 32 pieces of each component in it there are 16 stacked layer of 512GB V-NAND chip.


Samsung claims the latest SSD capacity this time usually store 5700 Full HD quality movie files with 5GB size. Of course, the speed in read and write data also doubled.
