Vuzix Company will show off smart glasses with Alexa support at CES 2018

At the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), a company called Vuzix will introduce AR New smart eyewear backed by Amazon's virtual personal assistant, Alexa.

Vuzix smart glasses this will allow users to ask Alexa and read the answer on the medium in the direction of the user's view. Visible information includes stock quotes, sports scores, and weather data.

Meanwhile, presenting Alexa in various third-party tools is considered to help Amazon in increasing revenue. This is driven by Alexa's ability to arrange for purchases to be made only in Amazon.

This smart glasses will go on sale in the second quarter of 2018, with a bid price of US $ 1,000. Vuzix CEO Paul Travers said the price would decline to US $ 500 by 2019.

To be able to take advantage of Alexa's capabilities on AR glasses, the user must be an Amazon customer. Amazon admitted interested in the potential of glasses and its ability to bring Alexa to consumers in a new way.
