Google will focus on AR technology and multi-player experience in the 2018 GDC event

GDC event
On March 19, Google will host Google Developer Day at the 2018 Game Developer Conference (GDC) event. Google will focus on expanding mobile gaming coverage, with emphasis on Augmented Reality (AR) technology.

In addition, Google will also emphasize on the experience of playing with more than one number of players. Google will also discuss how game creators can expand their user base in emerging markets.

This also indicates Google's preparation for bringing new things related to the future of mobile games. Meanwhile last year at the GDC event, Google focused on improving the connectivity of players by showing off new monetization ways, as well as new advertising opportunities.

Previously, Google announced a new version of the Android Wear SDK, 2.2.0, letting developers add a number of new features to the smartwatch face operating system Android Watch. One of the new features is Notification Dots, which previously can be found on Android 8.0 Oreo.
