Apple confirms 65% of iPhone and iPad already used iOS 11

iOS 11
Apple released statistics related to the adoption of iOS 11, as well as the adoption of previous versions of operating systems, as a comparison. According to Apple, 65 percent of iPhone and iPad are currently using iOS 11.

Meanwhile, 28 percent of iPhones and other iPads still use the previous iOS operating system version, the iOS 10. Only as many as seven percent of Apple devices are still using the version before iOS 10.

The amount is measured by using an app called App Store as of Jan. 18, so the information is up to date. That number will only grow if Apple users switch to newer devices or more consumers are switching iOS devices.

By comparison, Apple announced one year ago that 76 percent of iPhones and iPads use iOS version 10 operating system. At that time, iOS 10 is the latest version of Apple's operating system.

Component supply chain sources estimate Apple's order for iPhone output in 2017, in the first quarter of 2018, will decrease by 15 percent to 30 percent, when compared to the first quarter in general.

In addition to the decline in component orders, other sources in the supplier chain also claimed that iPhone X sales slowed, and negatively impacted sales of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which slowed further.

Previously, Apple CEO Tim Cook has promised a solution to slow the performance of Apple's iPhone deliberately. Cook says that in the next iOS update will be available features to solve the case.
