WhatsApp and BB
In the past year, WhatsApp announced that it will stop support for its applications on a number of mobile platforms, which no longer offer the capabilities needed to add application features.

The first platform that is no longer supported by WhatsApp is BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10. Users of this version of the application should be prepared to find another alternative, because WhataApp support ends on December 31.

At the first announcement, WhatsApp called the app will stop working on mobile platforms that no longer receive support. However, the update indicates that the user can not create a new account or verify an existing account.

However, users can still use WhatsApp, even after December 31st. Only, WhatsApp is no longer actively developing the version for BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10, a number of features are also expected to stop functioning at any time.

WhatsApp also confirmed it will stop support for Windows Phone 8.0 version apps on the same date, December 31, 2017. Two other platforms, Nokia S40 and Android 2.3.7 and older versions are no longer supported by December 31st.
