Snapdragon 845 makes a fast smartphone internet connection

Qualcomm also pinned Snapdragon 845 with components that enable fast mobile internet connection like fiber optic network.

"Snapdragon 845 is supported by X20 or Cat 18 modems that enable download speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps," said Peter Carson, Senior Manager of Product Manager of Qualcomm at Grand Wailea, Maui, Hawaii on Thursday.

Carson explained the X20 modem supports 5x carrier aggregation, 4x4 MIMO specification, and dual SIM and VoLTE slots. Because it is dual SIM and dual second generation VoLTE, users can freely use the network, be it 2G or 3G.

 

In addition, Qualcomm also buried WiFi networks that support 60 GHz 802.11ad to generate connection with 4.6 Gbps speed. 

 

TrueWireless technology on Bluetooth that enables users to transmit faster data transfer with lower data consumption and efficient. Snapdragon 845 itself is claimed as a Gigabit LTE processor that has a super fast data transfer capability in a matter of gigabits per second.

 

Although not yet commercially present in smartphones, fast internet technology that Snapdragon 845 has is expected to be visited the new mobile phone in 2018.
