Now in a new report, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are said to have been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Subject to this certification, the FCC has approved a device codenamed SM-G960F and SM-G965F, which is believed to be Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
This certification means both smartphones will soon be released in the United States (US). Unfortunately, the FCC certification does not include the specifications of the smartphone concerned.
Samsung Galaxy S9 will be paired with Exynos 9810 processor or Snapdragon 845 for certain markets, such as the United States (US).
In addition, Samsung is reported to be increasing the option to unlock the device with a face. However, it is unknown whether the Galaxy S9 will have facial recognition features like Face ID on iPhone X.
