Qualcomm wants Snapdragon 845 to be the ultimate Mixed Reality support device

Qualcomm with Snapdragon 845 chips, reportedly will power not only the latest high-end devices. The chip is also equipped with integrated capabilities to support the mix reality device.

The so-called Adreno 630 GPU will support the ability to detect wall collisions, which are becoming an important technology to support the unreal world. In addition, the chipset is also claimed armed with a level of power consumption 35 percent lower than its predecessor, Snapdragon 835.


Qualcomm also equip Snapdragon 845 with new components supported by third generation artificial intelligence platform (AI). The platform is claimed to be able to offer the ability to recognize scenes and objects while moving.

A few days ago, Qualcomm announced it was working with NetEase Games to optimize its new chip to work with the Messiah game engine. The gaming machine is used on a number of mobile game titles.

Developers calling it a partnership with Qualcomm will enable it to produce more exciting games for players, in order to bring a more satisfying experience. Both Qualcomm and Netflix have been able to use the Vulkan graphics made by Khronos.

NetEase uses the Snapdragon VR SDK to develop its first Virtual Reality (VR) game, designed to work with Qualcomm's Snapdragon technology. The game will be called Twilight Pioneers, and the game designed for the Snapdragon 845 chipset will be launched in 2018.
