
"We have seen mortgaged homes to buy Bitcoin - Others use credit cards," said Joseph Borg, President of the North American Securities Administrators Association, a voluntary organization aimed at protecting investors and also the director of the Alabama Securities Commission.
"It's not something to be invested by people who have a mediocre income per year, people who still have debt in the bank and have two children to be lectured," Borg said.
Bitcoin's value has continued to rise for the past 2 years. With the skyrocketing value of Bitcoin, more and more people are interested in investing in the cryptocurrencty, although not a few people who criticize the existence of Bitcoin.
