Xiaomi Sold 1 Million Units in 48 Hours In India

Xiaomi returned to reap after successfully selling 1 million units of smartphones within 48 hours. This new achievement beat the previous brand's pretense of selling the same number of units within 18 days.

Xiaomi's success this time is obtained through an online shopping festival held in India. It said that Amazon India and Flipkart were the two e-commerce services that contributed to Xiaomi's achievement figures.


"We are very proud of this success, Xiaomi incised the highest achievement in the smartphone industry in India adding to the list of success of Xiaomi brand in this country which as far as we know has never been obtained by other brands.To achieve this we have prepared 6 months before by preparing stock units enough so as not to disappoint consumers, "said Raghu Reddy, Head of Online Sales, Xiaomi India.

Party Xiaomi India through a tweet in social media Twitter mentioned that Redmi Note 4 became the most sold units then followed by Redmi 4. Last year Xiaomi also managed to sell 1 million units of smartphones within 18 days.
At that time the Redmi Note 3 series became the most popular smartphone in India. By the IDC mentioned that Xiaomi has been the number 1 vendor in India since last year.

If calculated carefully if Xiaomi managed to sell 1 million units of smartphones in 48 hours, meaning that on average there are 300 units sold every minute. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 carrying 5.5 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution with 2.5D curved design.
