Xiaomi Launches Mi Notebook Pro To Compete With Macbook Pro

Mi Mix 2 is indeed the star of Xiaomi's show today. However, the China-based company also exhibited two other products, namely Mi Note 3 and Mi Notebok Pro. Xiaomi began to enter the laptop market in the middle of last year, with the release of Mi Notebook Air.  
Now, the China-based company is targeting professionals who need a laptop with the latest components with Mi Notebook Pro.

Xiaomi launches Mi Notebook Pro which is armed with 8th generation Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card. This latest Xiaomi laptop will be present in 3 variants. The first variant, priced at CNY6,999 or about US $ 1085, uses Intel Core i7 with 16GB of RAM.

The second variant is still using Intel Core i7, but with a smaller RAM, which is 8GB. He appreciated CNY6,399 (US $ 992). The most basic variant, at CNY5,599 (US $ 868) using Intel Core i5 and 8GB RAM. All three have M.2 NVMe SSD 256GB.


Mi Notebook Pro has a Full HD screen of 15.6 inches lined with Corning Gorilla Glass. In addition, Xiaomi also claims that the Mi Notebook Pro laptop body is so tough that it can withstand the heavy load of Segway.   

Xiaomi also has equipped the laptop with a fingerprint sensor on the touchpad and Windows Hello.

Xiaomi claims that for playing games and video encoding, the laptop offers better performance when compared to Apple's Macbook Pro.  


Although aimed at professionals, Xiaomi also mentioned that Mi Notebook Pro can already be used to play Dota 2 game with framerate 60-65 fps.
