One of them is Windows Mixed Reality, Microsoft's platform for Virtual Reality headsets made by computer makers such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo.
Mixed Reality software will later become part of Windows 10. Several headsets using this platform will also be available on October 17 while some others will be released later this year.
Microsoft plans to release some key features when Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is released. However, they finally postponed the launch of the feature until early next year.
One such feature is Timeline, which allows users to move from one device to another, including Android and iOS-based phones.
One of the features available on Fall Creators Update is People Integration, which allows users to embed their favorite contacts in the taskbar.
Microsoft will also include OneDrive Files On-Demand, allowing users to take files from OneDrive without having to sync or download the entire folder.
Microsoft will also start using Fluent Design on Fall Creators Update. Therefore, there will be little change in Windows applications 10. In this update next month, Microsoft will also include a beta version of eye tracking software and support for the stylus to write.
Currently, Microsoft is improving the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. The Windows Insiders are testing a trial version to find an existing bug. This test is expected to be completed by the end of September.
