Panos Panay is Microsoft's Vice President who is responsible for hardware made by the giant software company, ranging from Xbox, Microsoft Band, HoloLens to Microsoft Surface. He is also considered the "Father" of the Surface line.
Microsoft did launch a new Surface device in October. In addition, sources who know about Microsoft's plans say that by the end of next month, Microsoft will launch at least one new device.
In May, Microsoft launched the new Surface Pro. Redmond's origin company also promised to launch an LTE version of the device. Possibly, the device that Microsoft will launch next month.
In addition there is the possibility they will launch the successor of the Surface Book line and Surface Hub.
Working closely with PC makers, Microsoft also plans to launch a Windows laptop powered by an ARM processor. However, it is still unknown whether Microsoft will also create Surface devices with ARM processors. They just mentioned, they're realizing their plan to launch Windows devices with Qualcomm's chips.
"As planned, we strive to provide Snapdragon devices with Windows 10 this year, as described earlier," said a Microsoft spokesman. "Microsoft and Qualcomm continue to work with our manufacturing partners, ASUS, HP and Lenovo to launch Always Connected devices with LTE connectivity and cost-effective batteries to the market."
