Blizzard Ready to Open Esport Arena Next Month

Game developer Blizzard announced it would open its first esport game center in Los Angeles, USA. Named Blizzard Arena, the venue is claimed to be the center of esport activities equipped with super complete facilities for training to compete. The place is also said to be aimed at professional gamers and esport fans who want to watch the game.

Blizzard Arena will have a special sound system equipped with a control room to display a variety of videos and audio to the stage. 

In addition, there is also a special room to perform and control the live broadcast so that the game can be watched around the world through an online streaming facility.

The opening of Blizzard Arena is said to be held on October 7, where Blizzard will hold the Overwatch Contenders Season One Playoffs event.


Blizzard will use this arena for the Hearthstone Championship Tour Summer Championship on October 13th. After that various other game tournament events such as Heroes of the Storm and World of Warcraft will also be held in this place.

"Currently we are at the point where the competitive kome era is about to begin, we want to prepare it all through the Blizzard Arena that is designed to accommodate all esport needs," said Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime.
