Google Home Support Spotify Free Version

Google Home
Amazon Echo became the first device to get attention when discussing the matter of intelligent speakers. So do not stir if the device dominates the market by 70 percent. Meanwhile, the second position is occupied by Google's smart speakers, namely Google Home, with a market share of 20 percent.

This market share is expected to change due to the launch of Microsoft Invoke and Apple HomePod which will be launched this year.

Previously, Google Home was able to access playlists and broadcast music for Spotify Premium paid service subscribers.

But the ability to listen to music via Google Home can not be enjoyed by users of the ad-free Spotify service.

At the Google I / O event in May, the search engine giant announced its smart speakers will support the paid and free paid Spotify service. To add a Spotify account to Google Home, users need to access the Google Home app, tap Music, and click Spotify.

Earlier this month, Google Home added support for another music streaming site called Deezer.

Google Home is also expected to add support for SoundCloud on the list of integrated music streaming services.

Users can become the first consumers to try out new features newly added to Google Home by signing up for the Google Home Preview Program. This will allow users to test software updates and new features added to smart speakers before rolling out more broadly.
