Electronics plans to launch the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23, 2017 or
earlier than usual in September, The Bell reported on Wednesday, July
12, 2017.
A Samsung
executive also told The Mobile Phone Investor with a bigger screen it
will be unveiled at the end of next month in New York. But the source declined to confirm the August 23 launch.
According to various sources, Samsung recently decided to advance the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 and start selling the phone in September globally.
The early launch was done amid rising speculation Apple's launch of iPhone 8 could be delayed due to supply constraints of some parts, such as chips and screens.
After the Galaxy S was launched earlier this year, Samsung launched Note phones in September. The launch is usually done at the IFA trade show in Berlin to match the new iPhone coming out in the second half.

The new Phablet Note is the successor of the troubled Note 7 last year. This
gadget is expected to come with an English version of Samsung's
intelligent assistant, Bixby, and a new S-Pen stylus that supports
translation functions.
Galaxy Note 8 is likely to have a 6.3 inch screen display, slightly wider than the Galaxy S8 Plus's 6.2 inch screen.
