As quoted from Digital Trends, this month's travel plan was revealed from a proposal by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
Proposals submitted to Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Knowledge and Technology, contain the plans and missions of human exploration to the moon.
Japan will develop the full range of technologies that will be required for the mission to the moon, and its preparation will begin in 2025. Details of this month's mission will only be revealed before the International Space Exploration Forum in Japan in March 2018.
This plan marks the first time JAXA discloses the mission of human submissions to the moon to the public. However, this mission is reportedly one of Japan's efforts to explore science, including the cost and time needed to send humans to it.
Not only Japan, China has also declared the mission of sending the shuttle to the moon by 2020, and man to the moon in the next few years. In addition, India also has a similar plan in mid-2017.
