Since Foxconn owns a majority shareholding of 66 percent in Sharp, the Taiwanese company is attempting to revolutionize Sharp's business. One line of Sharp business that want to be revitalized by Foxconn is the development of mobile devices aka smartphone.
Associated with it, Sharp also improve themselves and reportedly they have plans to release two new smartphones in the next month that target the middle class. Having the model number FS8010 and FS8016, both smartphones blend Sharp will be released on July 17, 2017.
Other leaks also mention that both smartphones are packed with a 5.5 inch screen that has a high screen-to-body ratio and a resolution of 2048 x 1080 pixels. Both will also come with 12 MP rear camera support.
What about embedded chipset support? Sharp equipped FS8010 with Snapdragon 630 chipset, while FS8016 will be equipped with Snapdragon 660 chipset. With these specifications, clearly the FS8016 is the top model of both.
One thing that is not less interesting, Sharp also packed both newest smartphone has a design similar to Xiaomi Mi MIX. Bezel-less at the bottom of the screen and overall screen area accounted for at least 91.3 percent of the front of the device.
