James Ejankowski, from East Riding of Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to cheating with his 26-year-old colleague Charlotte Slater who stole 99 thousand pounds from Bank Clydesdale and Yorkshire in December 2016 using a bug.
According to Gazette Live, he uses the bank's computer flaws to transfer money that is not his own. He then funneled the money through his partner's Natwest bank account and told his family that he won cash.
"He has shown his intention to pay all his money back when he can do it," Ejankowski lawyer Andrew Turton told Teesside Crown Court.
Reported by the IB Times, there have been a number of hacking incidents over the past 12 years. This hack also adds a row of hacking cases in the region. In the UK, a slit of Bank Tesco's online services generated 2.5 million pounds stolen from 9,000 customers.
