Factory Like in raid, Hundreds of Thousand SIM Cards and 400 iPhone Seized
Like fake in cyberspace so business tantalizing. Police in Thailand raided a house in the Muang Aranyaprathet area near the Cambodian border and found a factory like or clickfarm there.

Such a factory is operated by three Chinese people named Wang Dong, Niu Bang and Ni Wenjin. They total using 474 iPhone, 347,200 SIM cards from Thai operators and 10 computer units. Everything is confiscated for the sake of investigation.

As quoted from the Bangkok Post, the suspect said they were paid to operate a bot account at WeChat, China's largest social media.

They unveiled an unidentified Chinese company supplying them with hundreds of such phones and paying quite a large sum of USD 4,403 per month. Their job is to create an artificial campaign at WeChat against certain products sold online in China.

Thailand was chosen as their headquarters due to cheaper data rates. The bot problem at WeChat itself is not new to increasing engagement with brands or products.

The three suspects were arrested by Thai police with several charges. Including visa violation, work without permission, using an unregistered SIM card as well as smuggling.

Local police are investigating how they can smuggle so many smartphones into Thailand. And also bought so many local SIM cards.
