Waiting for CS Champion: GO at Intel Extreme Master

Intel Extreme Masters (IEM), one of the oldest eSports competitions in the world, will be held in Australia. On 6-7 May 2017, Counter-Strike's best team: The Offensive Officers (CS: GO) who qualify for the playoffs will play at Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, Australia.

This year, the team that won the CS competition: GO at Qudos Bank Arena will have the opportunity to earn a total prize money of AUD $ 260,000 for the biggest prize for the eSports event in Australia.


The eight teams that will compete in IEM this weekend are OpTic Gaming, Astralis, North, FaZe Clan, Chiefs eSports Club, Renegades, Vici Gaming, and the best team in the world today, SK Gaming. As the best team in 2016 and two-time CS champions: GO Majors, SK Gaming ensures itself in this competition and welcomes the lover at the Qudos Bank Arena.

For information, Intel Extreme Master is one of the oldest professional competition competitive games available today. First established in 2006 by ESL (Electronic Sports League), this competition managed to suck up 40 million viewers in Twitch every season.


In addition to CS: GO, IEM also features titles of other competitive games such as Starcraft II, League of Legends, and Overwatch across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.
