The PC version of Destiny 2 will be Present Exclusively in Blizzard's Blessed Battle.net

Destiny 2
Through the livestream last night, Bungie and Activision announced that the PC version of Destiny 2 will be exclusively present at Battle.net. Just like the Blizzard games purchased through Battle.net, you can also buy Destiny 2 via Battle.net.

This makes Destiny the first 2 non-blizzard games sold in Battle.net. This news is very good news, given that Battle.net is very good at handling online gameplay. Unfortunately for server affairs, Destiny 2 PC server will not be held by Blizzard but Bungie. The following features will be promised Destiny 2 for PC:

  • 4k Resolution Support (3820 × 2160)
  • Framerate without limit
  • Full mouse and keyboard support with custom control mapping
  • Text chat
  • Field of View can be arranged at will
  • Detailed PC settings
  • 21: 9 monitor support
This news is not a surprise anymore, considering Blizzard Entertainment is a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard and has exclusive rights with Bungie to publish the game.

This possibility is a sign that Activision will make their personal online store via Battle.net like Ubisoft's EA or Uplay Origins.

Destiny 2 will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 8, 2017, while its BETA will be released this summer.
