First Apple Store in Southeast Asia Ready to Open in Singapore
The first Apple Store in Southeast Asia is finally ready to operate in Singapore in the near future. Taking a location on Orchard Road, this store will be operated by Apple.

Quoted from Strait Times, this store will officially operate on May 27, 2017 and is open from 10:00 to 22:00. The information is known from posters on display in front of the store.

The design of this store is very similar to other Apple retail stores. Looking from the front, this store has two floors. The first floor is specialized to sell products, such as iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and other accessories. While the second floor became a meeting place.

A number of events have been prepared for the opening of the store. The first day of opening, local singer Sezairi will be performing as performers from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

The second day is filled with Apple's 'Today at Apple' show that was introduced by Apple earlier this month. This event is a sharing session between industry actors and communities held at the Apple Store.

The second day is Chia Aik Beng photographer with street photography session. There are also other sessions devoted to filmmaking for children.

This Apple Store will operate entirely with solar thermal energy. In addition to the store, Apple's offices located in One North also utilize solar thermal technology, making it the first company in Singapore to utilize renewable energy.
