As is known to date wireless usage is still utilizing the 4G network. For 5G still in trial form, it has not been commercialized yet. The plan, a country like Japan is also just showing off the 5G network in 2020 during the Olympic moment.
But Apple is getting ready to welcome the 5G era. The Cupertino-based company is licensing experiments on the use of new wireless technologies to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulators.
"This will provide technical data relevant to the operation of devices on the 5G network in the future," wrote Apple quoted from Business Insider.
The fifth-generation network test will be conducted in two locations, one in Milpitas, California and the other near its headquarters located at 1 Infinite Loop.
Of the application submission was mentioned will use the band 28 and 39 GHz, where the frequency band has been approved for the use of 5G technology last year.
