Larry Page, Build Google from Zero Until So The Internet Giant

All that can not be separated from the role of a computer programmer reliably named Lawrence Edward Page alias Larry Page who founded Google together with his partner, Sergey Brin.

The Beginning of Google's Founding

Google journey to achieve success as now is also quite winding. At first, Google was a research project that Page and Brin did in 1996.

At that time, both were graduate students at Stanford University and collaborated on a research project. The project became a search engine called BackRub which operated using servers on their campus.

Both have ideas for creating search pages linked to several other pages. At the beginning of the stand, Google got an investment of US $ 100 thousand from Co-founder Sun Andy Bechtolsheim.

After getting an injection of funds, they have the first office, namely in a garage owned by Susan Wojcicki who is now a CEO of YouTube.

Furthermore, Google began hiring engineers and forming a sales team. As the company grew, Google headquarters moved to The GooglePlex in Mountain View, California.

Now, Google already has more than 50,000 employees in 50 countries. Google also diligently acquires other technology companies and gushes products that are worn around the world.

In addition to being the founder of Google, Page was CEO of the company from 2011 to 2015. Then, in August 2015, Google's Page-led company restructured the company by establishing a parent company called Alphabet Inc. to drive corporate innovation.

Until now, Larry Page has served as CEO of Alphabet Inc., and Google's CEO position is forwarded by Sundar Pichai.
